Last I remember he has 19 yrs of service and also works overtime quite often.

I would figure they start officers with a base pay right around $50k, plus benefits.

I start my 20th year in 2 weeks. My base salary is $88,857.60 plus shift differential and OT. That $100k/year doesn't include my part time job income.
