Getting all wisdom teeth at age 36 extracted in the AM..

Alright, just got home. Took an extra hour and a half due to bleeding they couldn't get under control but finally did and sent me home. So far I feel fine. Gauze still in my mouth sucks. Having to ice my cheeks 20 mins each hour but other than that, I feel just fine.

And man, when they put that iv in my arm, it wasn't ten seconds until I was feeling badassssss then passed out.

She asked me what pain meds I wanted when I told her hydrocodone didn't do squat for me bit I couldn't think of any at the moment. What is some stronger stuff I could try? Face is still numb, although wearing off slightly and starting to feel some pain.

Sucks I can't drink beer since it's carbonated, but she said liquor is just fine as line as I don't mix with pills.

Had one of mine pulled cus it went bad. To be honest it took all of 30 minutes maybe. Gave me a shot and started tugging. I told him hold up!!! That still hurts!!!! Stuck me again and he started talking and then he stuffed some gauze in my mouth.

I asked are we going in and he said we already out lol.

I took the hydrocodone once and didn't like how it made me feel. So I double up on Tylenol and was good.

The second week I was eat some damn nachos tho. Called myself being careful but then aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Caught a chip sideways right in the hole. Mani wanted to cry lol.

I've had two molars removed while awake. Felt like he was trying to rip my damn head off. I have stupid long roots though, so it's probably why he had to put so much pressure on them. Hell, one of them opened up a hole into my sinuses, nothing like breathing through the tooth hole.

I had mine pulled earlier this year a couple of months before turning 36. Went in, they put me asleep, woke me up. I felt a little groggy, but by the time I got home I was fully awake. That meant no long nap for me.
I was looking forward to sleeping all day, but the opposite happened. Have you even seen a really mean drunk? Well that is how I was acting for the next few hours. I was pissed off for my lip being so numb and not being able to drink without drooling, I was pissed off that my wife made mashed potatoes. I was cursing, yelling and being mean, the total opposite of my normal demeanor.
They gave me Tylenol3 as hydrocodone does not do anything for me except give me the feeling that I've just had a shit ton of caffeine.
I did not feel any pain, just had to watch out for dry sockets. I tried the T3 and it did nothing. I don't understand how people get high off of pain meds.
Next day I was helping a friend pull the engine out of his GTO.
