So says the guy living on the face of the sun with 85% of the people wearing Depends.

If you are in the cattle business. It is the smell of money when the wind blows from the southwest (Hereford). Plus how else are you ballerz going to get all those cowhides?

          You're thinking of Hereford.

haha, it really is bad, too. I sometimes wondered if I had an exaggerated memory of it from being a kid until I drove through again and found out if anything it was even worse than I remembered. Being in a convertible didn't help.

I have to say it is better than smelling red tide in Portland (Corpus Christi). The smell of dead/rotting fish has to be the worst smell ever.

If you think Amarillo is dusty. Live in Lubbock for a while.
If you think Amarillo smells bad. Try living in Corpus Christi during red tide.

                    Amarillo by morning!

Movers showed up at about 9:30am and finished loading just after 5. Cleaned the house up and checked in to a hotel. Just have to pick the dog up from the boarding kennels in the morning and head out.

After buying a flat lot and building the house. It was harder to leave for the last time then the other homes we have owned. When we were talking about selling, during the sell and after the sell it never bothered me at all. But leaving just a little bit ago. It was really weird.

That's my hometown, so I visit every now and then. Most of my immediate family still lives up there.
