  • Request help for a fellow Mustang guy

I guess this is the right place to put this and I apologize if we are not supposed to post stuff like this...

I am a member of a classic mustang group and a key member was recently diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. I have never met the guy myself but he seems to always lend a hand where he can whether it is just advice or coming over to turn a wrench.(not in the DFW area, lives in Georgia) He hasn't asked for anything other than prayers however another member started a fundrazor site on his behalf.
When he told his employer about the cancer he was let go so he has no insurance and his doctor want to do surgery asap. It has raised just over $2k in 3 days but he will need quite a bit more to get proper care. He posted his classic stang for sale but the hope is we can help to raise enough money to keep him alive and with his beloved Mustang.

If anyone can spare 5, 10, 20 or whatever I know he and his family would greatly appreciate it.

    Link to the fundrazor is:
My name is Emily Allmond. I have a dear friend, Kenneth Padgett in Waleska Ga whos recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, He was let go form his employer & insurance lost and now needs our help with getting him into surgery within the next ...

I know that chances are nobody on here knows this guy but bad things happen to good people. Every little bit can help. If enough people donate 5 to 10 bucks it may just make all the difference in the world.

Thanks to any who can/will help with $ or prayers.

      Man,
I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I pray that they found it soon enough to get it taken care of and gone forever.

I have lost both grandmothers and one grandfather to various forms of cancer. Lung cancer, skin cancer and my grandfather had cancer in his pelvis that within a week of finding it, spread pretty much everywhere.

You are absolutely right, cancer sucks.
