Do you have your own financing? What is more important to you price or payment? Ford has 0% for 60mos + $1750 trade assist if you are trading in a vehicle. Or you can let that go and get $8500 in incentives. A decked out FX2 CC Ecoboost would be $45xxx with option 1 or $38xxx with option 2 and that is before any negotiating.

I bought an Eco-Boost after I took both of them home for a day. The one thing I can say about the 5.0 was that it sounded a lot better....but it felt very lazy after I drove the EB.
Your situation may be different (everyone's is)....for me, I tow pretty frequently and I drive >50% hwy, and it is also my DD....so it was simply the better option.
My biggest advice overall is to be patient and don't settle....there are way too many of these trucks on the market to not be choosy, and especially with the new style hitting lots in the next few weeks.70' Chevelle RagTop

I paid $32k for my FX2 Tremor, sticker was $42k....it's pretty much fully optioned, back up camera, tow package with trailer brake controller, sync, nav, hid's, remote start, etc...
There are deals out there..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

When I bought my '13 ecoboost new, I barely paid more than most of the used trucks I was looking at. I was trying to find a used 2012 FX2 with <20k miles, and the used prices were ridiculous compared to new with the incentives out there. Between factory incentives and dealer discounts I was around $11k off sticker. Personally I'm willing to buy new when its only a couple grand difference.
With the 2015 models about to hit lots, I'm sure you will find some deep discounts out there, and it may make more sense to buy new.
