for his purposes and the purposes of most buyers, it is inferior... the Ecoboost outperforms the 5.0. period.

a video of a modded truck vs. a stock truck is pointless... if he's spending $30k, I doubt he wants to hick the thing up with a bunch of mods and void his warranty.

That full bolt on truck has no forced induction, has longer gears, and weighs quite a bit more. And lets put two turbos on the coyote 5.0 and it'll be bye bye Tremor!

It isn't an argument, it's the truth. a 2014 5.0L Mustang gets beat by a Gallardo. Add a Procharger to the 5.0L and it beats the Gallardo. Drop the Gallardo off with $120,000 at Underground Racing and, well, it beats damn near everything.

The point you're missing is that, off the lot, the EcoBoost is a much more capable engine option. Once you go throwing money at anything, all bets are off.

Well I wasn't looking for a pissing match.... Anyway, if I don't haul anything except once in a blue moon, how bad off would I be getting the 5.0? That used one for sale I feel like he can wiggle on the price some.... But I've been leary because it isn't ecoboost...

I know I probably just need to go to a lot and drive both, just too busy at work to do that at the moment. 😣
