Im sure. Humans are instinctively social, gotta be a couple clicks off to live by yourself fearing interaction for almost three decades.

                Damn good lunch-time reading material...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

That is one of the most fascinating things I have ever read.

Somewhat unrelated, but that writer actually has excellent skills.

What a can of pringles. After 28 years all he could share was "get enough sleep"?

It's definitely an interesting read. What I took away from it was Chris was socially impotent, which makes me think he does possibly have aspergers. He certainly seemed content with avoiding society, however from a welfare standpoint, even after all those years it seemed he was unable to live off the land. I have doubts he could earn enough of a living to be self sustaining, even in the wilderness.
