When I bought my '13 new the lower rate made up for any savings I would have had buying used. Used car prices are still pretty silly out there, especially on something that is probably going to have a high demand for the first year. I am very interested to see what everyone thinks of the 15+ once members start buying them up.

Hell, I love mine, and trying to get her talked into letting me buy her something nicer to drive.

Yea, I'm interested to hear this as well. I'm looking forward to a test drive. Heck I might just hate it, but I kinda doubt that will be the case. Heck, I drove a v6 rental around DC a few weeks ago and that alone gave me a bit of a smile.

Miyako will check out a Canyon at the Texas State Fair. Her parents are visiting from Japan for the next three months. We'll wait until they're gone before doing anything.

I wish my wife was like that.

I'm also waiting on the members to buy the new mustang for their reviews

No offense but I would do all I could to get rid of that Mercedes. Women love them I know but they are nothing but trouble when it comes to maintenance.

On a somewhat related note my buddy at work came in last week and told me the stealership quoted him $1700 to replace his front brakes on his land rover with 18K miles on it. Apparently they wear out awful quick since the internet forums are full of people with the same problem at roughly the same mileage. Lots of people say that it is because it is such a high performance car. I already looked up the parts, it is about $450 for new pads and rotors. This is, of course, a car he bought for his wife.

                Which model is this specifically?

That is the part of owning a Land Rover that gets people, the cost of parts and maintenance. My dad has been a parts man for Land Rover for many years. He has seen a lot of people pick them up at auction, only to get rid of them because of the cost to keep them maintained.
