  • Dont you love it when your wife

plans all this stupid shit when she has an easy night at work and then comes home and gets all bent out of shape when you aren't interested? Shes always pressuring me to take these stupid trips to go do some dumb crap when she knows I dont even like to travel.

Shes boo hooing and thinks im some kind of prick when shes the one that was inconsiderate enough to plan some big vacation without me. She wants to go to port aransas and do some stupid fishing trip and I hate those stupid fishing trips. Its hot and pointless and seemingly very unsportsmanlike. And everybody wants you to just stay out there for hours when you arent even catching sh1+

    Ugh

    ok internet rant ove

Actually, that sounds pretty cool that she wants to go somewhere with you and it's not to a flower festival or a shoe convention. You don't like to travel and you don't like to fish and you don't want her planning any vacations... Don't you see where maybe she could complain about how she tries to do something cool with her husband, but he's a giant fuddy-duddy?

If you love her, it wouldn't hurt to indulge her on shit like that every now and then.

Just my 2 cents. It sounds like a cool trip to me.

I wish my wife would plan a fishing trip for me. All she ever wants to do is go to the stupid mall.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

It's entirely possible that she wants to get out of the house to be around people capable of a decent conversation. You shouldn't hold her back from that.

She probably thought she was planning something nice for you. Fancy her and do something outside the house before she walks off with half. From some of your comments I can't imagine she wants outside interaction and a chance to experience things with you. But if that's denied...she gonna want out of her cage.

I'll echo what's above, she just wants to get out and go somewhere with you, sounds to me like you're being completely selfish in keeping her from that.

If you haven't suggested that y'all plan a trip together to somewhere that you wouldn't mind going, then you are 100% to blame. Note that I didn't say that you need to cater to her every whim, but marriage is about compromising, and doing what she wants to do occasionally is a big part of that.

If he lets her out of the house, she'll get away.

As I've got older I've calmed down and fight less. However, we still have odds on handling finances.
