I did for hours, but not days. Last one was to ranger hill and back.

It is good to unplug, I do it often. Doesn't matter if it is just turning communication devices at the house or going somewhere where wireless no workie.

I have though about it a few times the last couple of weeks at work. The last month has been the most stressful I have ever experienced in a job.

Do it all the time. Most Sundays I turn my phone off and just stay busy outside. Friends/family/co-workers can't understand why and actually get pissy, but idgaf.

Being around all the folks with their phone notifications beeping all fucking day drives me nuts. It's like a contest to see who's more pseudo important. Sad really.

Over the last few months we've been having money problems. It's been beyond tight, I mean shit all just happened at all the wrong times, and we went from money in the bank to dipping into savings, to pulling out the credit cards. Shit happens, and I'll we will get past it, but it came down to picking what bills to pay. We decided the cell phones could wait. My phone was off for only a week, but half way through the week I was wondering why the hell I actually have a cell phone and got real close to paying off my bill, and cancelling the shit out of it.

I'd also like to add, if not for my wife and kid, the life of Jack Reacher sounds awful tempting.

Got-damn that sounds like a good idea.

...I've been picturing myself showing up at work with the AR, saw'd off, and both 45's for the past couple weeks.

You might have just saved some stinky humans with that idea!

I guess the straw this week is I'm gonna have to put mom in a nursing home. She needs more nursing attention than we can give her. She's fallen twice now when I'm not with her. Luckily today she didn't break anything.
I think I'll have another one bartender....
