Wasn't sure if it was worth stopping in Lockhart or La Grange for anything.

I was supposed to be headed back to Dallas but got called to Austin to finish up a job at the last minute.

if you have any interest there is a massive f'ing oak tree in columbus that is the biggest or oldest or second biggest. something like that. been 15 years or so since i saw it. it was huge and chained off with a plaque. i'd go 10 to 71. it is the way i have gone for years. heard 290 is good but just like going a different way.
