Have you or do you know a legitimate murderer?

I had a discussion with an old friend of mine that related a story of a guy he worked with. Long story short, the guy was a gang member that got picked up for involvement in two Fort Worth murders that were gang/drug related and is now in prison. I've never (to my knowledge) known anyone that has killed someone. He was blown away because the guy was pretty laid back and never seemed like "that type of dude that would shoot someone over $50".

It's a fascinating topic to me: having daily interaction with a person that kills someone in cold blood and goes about life like it was nothing special.

Anyone else have a similar story?

Nope....but had a friend that lived across the street, when we were kids, get murdered by his wife. She lured him the lake got him blasted out of his mind and then had her brother dump him of the boat. Her brother circled around him until he went under and stayed to make sure he did not come back above water. They reported him missing and while the search team was looking for his body. His "wife" drove back to town and was giving away his clothes and his stuff to people at the bar she went to all the time.


She, her brother and her mom were a crime wave looking for a place to happen. They are all locked away for a LONG TIME but it is my opinion that they got off easy.

Kid I grew up with used a drywall hammer to beat another guy from high schools dad to death. He's serving time somewhere in dfw.

He said after the last blow he had to stand on homedudes skull to pry the hammer out.

I worked with Joe for a few years. He was the one who shot the driver in the face, though the guy survived. We tolerated each other at best, most of us didn't like working with him. After this, there were some news stories about a body in a barrel in one of the accused backyards. I never found out if he killed the guy in the barrel or not.

I went to HS with a kid that got convicted of vehicular manslaughter. He wrecked 3 99 cobras in a row driving drunk. The third one killed a pregnant lady.

My aunt. She paid off a couple to kill her old man in the barn. Idiot actually pulled money out of her savings to pay the couple.




On a side note, the fucker that killed my cousin has still not had a trial. 2 fucking years later.

I know/lived with an ex Hells Angel and he had some under his belt, was/is a great guy and was let out of the gang on good terms, living the "right" life now, hates cops though!

Went to Jr high (Joe Bailey in Arlington) with Robert Neville who was executed in 2006. Weird guy that got picked on/bullied relentlessly, but he really brought it on himself. Not excusing the bullying, but jr high is kind of a jungle and he had no survival skills. Quiet, belligerent when talked to, and honestly seemed like a pretty dim bulb.

Know people that have killed or have murdered? I have known quite a few that have done both. The first person I ever knew that murdered was a kid from my little league, he shot his dad, a lot. Pretty sure the dad did a lot of bad things to that family. Another that comes to mind is I knew a guy that stabbed a guy to death over road rage. Known plenty of soldiers that have. Never really met anyone that didn't think it was a major incident though.
