Not enough miles for me! Company won't cover the pre-screen and I'm too cheap to pay for it. I've walked to different gates to avoid security, but never told the guy a different terminal. Any tips on the terminals for security minimization?
I haven't flown out of B terminal in several months, but I don't think they have priority lines at security. As a result, I always go to another terminal to get through security. The new area in A terminal (like at A1-5 or whatever they call it) moves very quickly. I've even asked the shuttle jockeys, and some of them will know or will radio to find out where the back ups are.
Also, I've never, ever seen more than a 5 minute security line at D terminal. Perhaps it's the times of day I fly, but I doubt it. I've been there picking people up and I don't see the lines then either. I tend to fly super early in the morning or a departure between 11am to 2pm. I avoid anything between 8am to 10am at all costs -- that's when the lines get rough. Hope that helps.
