But there is a flip side to that - dad is 85 years old, with $700,000 in the bank, and living in what appears to be poverty- there is such a thing as being too frugal.

I play poker with a guy named Elmer, that fool is the same way. This dude lives in a shack, drives a truck worth about 1500, wears clothes that a homeless man wouldn't wear, but worth a shitload!!
