Seriously. So sick of them. Just give me your best price, period-no bullshit. I love when you first call and you get the overplayed line, "Hey, let me go put my hands on that vehicle, whats your name and number and Ill call you right back once I do."

I got a crazy good deal and I am pleased with everything outside of the warranty issue

I fell for that trick once when I was 21. The bank doesn't give a fuck about an extended warranty or gap insurance.

The easiest car buying experiences are when I use my own bank without having to deal with their finance.

Oh, and you got proper fucked.

Work your way backwards from the final price and explain it to them as you go:

I want to pay $XX,XXX for this vehicle.

Here is my trade-in. I will take $XX,XXX for it, leaving a difference of $XX,XXX.

TT&L on the remainder is $X,XXX, bringing the total to $XX,XXX.

With my DFWM credit score, I should land a 0% loan for 60 months. That would bring us to a payment of $XXX a month.

I shit you not; this works. I used to buy vehicles on credit (solid barg).

We bought a SUV from Toyota in Grapevine and it was the exact same scenario. I could get 3.9% financing or if i bought all the extra BS , i could get 2.7%. I told him sure, and a few days later canceled everything and it automatically applied to the principal. There were no fees at all for cancelling within 30 days. Only downside is your monthly payment is a few bucks higher since it was based on the original amount with the extra $2k.

Cool, so what's the good rate? Oh yah, that does sound nice.... Okay Mr. Smartypants, give me the good rate without that BS or I walk.

And that is exactly how I deal with those types. Oh and you'll tint my fucking windows for free too, because it's TX and it's fucking hot, or I walk. Got it?

I drove a nice car here today and I can drive it home right now.

By the time you see the finance clown, you have already negotiated a price and a trade in or down payment. No need to haggle on all of their fluff charges. The only thing I typically buy anymore is a maintenance plan because I've gotten lazy in my old age.
