So how many of you had heard of Austin Beer Works before seeing this? I think the gimmick worked. It's like Sam Adam's when they did the Millenium brew and charged 3 arms and a leg for it, most people remember scoffing at a $200 bottle of beer but they sold every one of them. Or when Brewdog sold their "End of History" beers stuffed into roadkill for $765 each.

I have, only because I know someone who is one of the first employees to work there...it's a pretty cool place with laid back owners...

I was in Austin over the weekend so I tried some of their beers. I though they were all pretty good. Had the amber, pale ale, and IPA.
