  • Where to get rid of broken electronics

We have an old tube TV that lost it's picture and a treadmill that doesn't turn anymore. Where can I discard these (legally) or who can I call to pick them up?

Best buy accepts electronics but you might want to call them and ask.

Yep, set them out a day before normal trash pick up, they will be gone.

Might check with your city, we have a disposal site just for bulk items you just give them your address and they let you in to go toss it in the designated roll back for whatever it is.

I used an electronics recycler in Irving, like 15/20$ per pallet of stuff

Curb side would be ok, but many cities are started to limit electronic waste in to land fill. It is because of the lead in the solder.

Newer electronic equipment is being made with lead-free solder and parts that are lead-free.
