At what point do you change a full coverage vehicle to liability only?

      The rates i've gotten is 175 a month for full coverage on mustang liability on z if I got full coverage on both its 250 a month.

          I have liability only on mine. But I also have enough cash to eplace it at anytime so I dont see the point of full coverage. That and my only running vehicle is a paid off 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee so I dont care..

            even if the car is worth dirt. keep the collision and comp. also run uninsured.

            a running car is always worth money. especially on paper to an insurance company.

                      Well, it is probably worth around 25k. So if it gets totaled by someone without insurance, will you be okay with just throwing away 25k?

                              When your yearly premium + deductible, if you had a claim, meet or exceed the assumed value of the vehicle. For you this would be many years.
