When I was a kid i would sleep-wander. Some of the things i got busted doing were funny and come up from time to time.

    1) almost took a piss in a kitchen pantry - got busted
    2) was found standing in the middle of my moms houseplants she'd moved inside for the winter. some were huge, so I was lost in a jungle.
    3) walked into my parents bedroom and just walked up and stared out the window - with the curtains drawn. just staring at nothing. my mom freaked out on that one
    4) made a sandwich and a drink on the kitchen floor out of two paper plates, a jar of mayo, ketchup, pickles and a Coors beer. I was 8.

At a house party when I was in my late teens, everyone had passed out in the living room and anywhere there was a place to lay down in this small house.

I got a spot on the couch and woke up around 4-5am to my buddy peeing in the corner of the living room about 5 feet from me.

He had no recollection and we left promptly early that morning.

Ahem, guys, there's a difference between sleep walking and just being black out drunk... That being said, this thread is awesome.

My 4 y/o son will sometimes zombie walk a little. Usually just in his room though, every once in a while a loud thud when he trips on something and falls. Sometimes we'll find him zonked in his closet.

He is a good sleeper, so we don't think it is him just messing around. I took him out on a 90 degree night, camping on a boat and he was out until I woke him for a storm coming in.

my little sister used to sleep walk as a kid... only 4-5 times.

Paul, you might want to put some door locks way up high on all exterior doors just in case. You could just do slide bolts or whatever. Doesn't have to be an actual deadbolt.

Chances are he won't do it more than a few times in his life, but man, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make sure he can't make his way outside

Being the old man i am, it leaves me going to bed around 9:30 after the news. So Jr is in his bed, i'm in mine and around 11pm i hear the sound of my front deadbolt being messed with. So i hop up grab the g22 from atop the nightstand to go solve the problem. as im making my way to the front door in as full tacicool operator mode as i can be in my underpants with pistol at low ready i peek around the corner and there stands Jr in his drawers flipping the deadbolt from lock to unlock back and forth. I yelled "what are you doing" and he was disoriented to say the least. I assumed after he couldnt tell me why or what he was doing that he was in fact sleepwalking. His sleep schedule has been changing and also ate dinner about 10mins before he went to bed as we were at gymnastics unitl 8:15pm. It really scared me, as i dont like nor expect any movement in my house once im asleep.

                  god bless.
Yes, my middle daughter does this each night. Last night as a matter of fact she walked into the laundry room, pulled her pants down, sat on the laundry basket peed, wiped with a dirty shirt and walked back to bed. All the time mumbling and talking. Other times she will scream and cry and no matter what we do we cannot wake her up. It is the craziest thing. At first I got really mad and told her to stop it, quit being this way, etc but after talking to the doctor he said while they are in this state you sometimes cannot get them out of it in a quick manner and basically have to let it run its course.

Ice bucket challenge her! That'll wake her up.

I've woken up a few times driving to school. I was dressed, in the truck with the correct books, doing 70 with the cruise on when I came to. I've also wound up in the storm shelter and laying out in the yard, under a tree in what I'm guessing, was an overwatch position, overlooking my drive

My son has done the screaming thing several times. Freaks me the hell out when I'm awake and when I'm asleep? Full on attack mode.
