        You're lame.

Care to wager on the width of a dressed LSX compared to the DOHC 4.6?

Well an LSx is roughly the same size as a 351w and a 4.6 DOHC is 5x the size so......

Seems like such a waste of $$$ to put a 250hp/260tq motor into that car.

We talking about the 4.6 now?

I dont know if I trust those measurements

Guys are putting LSx's in early mustangs and leaving the shock towers, but you have to totally remove the towers to fit the 4.6.

While it would be a waste for a 4.6 2v to be put in there too, I'm referring to the toyota motor that the guy put in it.

I know... It is especially odd when a factory motor can be turboed and make the same numbers and be pretty reliable.

I had that same thought too, while staring at a classic mustang and a cobra dohc. The difference is in where the width is, the valve cover is the widest point on a DOHC, since the exhaust is tucked way down under them.
