lol, fuck him... any sane person would be understanding of your situation. I've been on both ends of that deal and would do the same as you and would also understand if I were the buyer

Dick move on your part OP, an ebay auction is a legally binding contract. It's not his fault no one else wanted your wheels and you didn't do you shipping homework before you started the auction.

If $180 isn't enough to ship a set of wheels, you're doing something wrong. There are plenty of ways, you just seem to have taken the easy way out and refunded him.

$16.xx per tire on UPS and you can get wheel boxes at Discount Tire for free. They ship for about the same depending on weight.

I've been called far worse, and quite frankly, am not too concerned about what you think of me. I didn't ask for your sympathy, nor do I even have the slightest care. I simply asked what the most economical means of shipping was.

Clearly I'm doing something wrong, and you've got nothing to input here other than your opinion, which I obviously place no value in.

Yeah, that's for the tire alone... I weighed them and each one is 77lbs. The don't have boxes large enough to put a tire in since they ship separately. I'd have to wrap them and ship as is.

                    Lesson learned...

The tires I get delivered from Tire Rack just have plastic bands and they ship two at a time. Never more than $15.00 per. I shipped some wheels last year and they were about the same.

You wanted our opinion on how to ship the wheels and then an hour later you posted you refunded the guy his money. LOL

Worthless thread is worthless. Stay off ebay and stick to Craigslist, you clearly dont know how it works and abide by the rules.

Greyhound would have been about $80 bucks.
I shipped 2 really big boxes to Colorado for that and it arrived in 18 hours.
