You should go to the fridge and get a beer and relax. Sounds like you have a bit of seasonal affective disorder! I have no idea how people live in places like Wisconsin and North Dakota...

I've been stuck at home the last two days, in a small overcrowded house with a grumpy wife, four young, noisy kids and frozen pipes. I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow.

Shades of grey.... being selective in saying there wasnt any ban at all, when there was just not all stems cells.

shades of grey... when stim cells are good or bad when their derived from skin or embryonic sources.

The irony of it all is considering this research is being done by University of Pitt and will hopefully lead to wonderful cures where it could be used to cure the soldiers, and the citizens of our great nation and even the world. Yet the modern research originated in embryonic studies that our govenment refused to pay, so its being funded by medical companies many of which reside outside the US. Thus effectivly making us pay for our own invention.

I dont think religion should affect any decisions made by our govt...but each party caters to the group that votes (and keeps) them in office.

Damn that is awesome, wish they had that back in 98 when I was burned. I had to go through months and months of painful debreeding and wound care. Fortunately, with good care I healed up almost perfectly, with the exception of a few spots on my elbows, but it still doesnt look as good as that guy.

This reminds me of when I was cliff jumping at Grapevine lake about 10 or 12 years ago. I backed up to jump and stood on top of a pile of coals someone decided to dump in the grass. I had to ride a Jon boat across the lake and ride my bike a mile to my house with torched feet. I slept that night with my feet in ice water. Talk about miserable!
