Is there a timer? the 4 stroke karts don't have a transponder. I ain't paying $125 or $65 for something without a timer.

The 4 strokes do have a transponder but I've never waste the money on the others to know.

            No...it's no where near dallas.

There is a pole position in frisco but I don't suggest it.

Is this where you race, primarily?

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                No Denton...At north texas karters.

But I've done the rentals at DKC a lot before I bought my own. I am considering a membership there as well to have a second track to run.

And to be clear...I'm not fast enough yet to really compete in races so most of my running is with friends to drop my lap times so I can hang with the front runners eventually.

Good karters are awesome to watch

Electrics are pretty fun as long as it's a good place..that's what pole position is. But pole position is full of idiots that play bumper cars, and as soon as there's a wreck all karts are slowed down. When there's a wreck every lap you never get to set an entire lap

While this is true, if you ask the guy running it, he will put you with a different group of people. Me and my brother went there this past weekend for my birthday, and our second race we got stuck with these no driving faggots. So on the third race I asked them to put us with a different group and they did no problem. Although if you are somewhat a good driver you have a lot of lap traffic to deal with. I was running consistent 23.3 second laps depending on lap traffic on their current layout. Also if you have an expert ranking they will bump your cart speed up which makes them really haul ass!!

The 60 mph ones everyone starts out in are the only ones with transponders. The GTMax and DD2 do not have transponders. I found a $60 for 5 races deal and ran two on the beginner karts, then converted the last three races to a GTMax and had a lot of fun. Those are a completely different animal.

                            Last I was there, the 4 Stroke 250s had transponders...but it's been almost a year since I bought mine...I guess it's changed.

No I do remember them saying something about the faster karts messing up the scoring for all the other drivers.
