I'm looking into it. Going to NOLA with some friends and the "van" will be parked the whole time we are there so not to concerned about that.

It'll probably have a receiver, you could get a hitch carrier. Or a Tahoe should have a roof rack.

Alamo has Suburbans for $100 more than a Tahoe and 15 passenger vans for another $100.00.

They advertise 8 passengers and 5 bags for a Suburban btw.

I can't imagine 7 adults being anywhere near comfortable in anything less than a large van, or for any trips longer than 30 minutes. New Orleans? Holy crap!

So looks like they are lining up either an Expedition EL or a Surburban for $208. How much room do they have behind the third row?

This is a two seat stroller laid flat down with the 3rd row up on an EL.

Nevermind, I Googled some pics and found what I was looking for. I think we'll be good with the space.

So we got the Surburban and it sucked. Yes it had 7 physical seat locations but it did not fit 7 adults, 3 of us being big boys. It sucked but we made due and rotated positions out... most of the time

if that was the case then you guys might of been better off getting two cars. Or a big ass church van.

Can you rent a full size conversion van?

The whole point of taking one vehicle was to "socialize" on the trip there. It was a something we had thought of though but the deal on the Surburban was to good to have passed up (essentially $50 a day) so we went with it.

LOL! There were only two messican, a black guy, and three white guys. We needed to have an even ratio in case we get us into and out of trouble

Well we are already back LOL! We did the full size van the first time and it wasn't as cheap as the Surburban although we had more people this trip.

We actually got into a Surburban taxi in NOLA and it had better room (two rows of bench seats) than our rental.

If they're "big guys" no SUV will fit them comfortably. You should've gotten a school bus.
