Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if my multiport will work the new one?
Get the 60 it should only be a little more. I had a 48 and got the 60. I only change the DE about once every three to five months. The valve the guy put in is great also.

I didnt even think about that, and I should have. My pool stays pretty clean ( I dont even run a polaris any more, since I dont really have trees around or much of anything falling in it.

Now I have to try and remember how to size the goddamn things again.

                  Measuring tape FTW!
Or you can guesstimate it with the size of your shoes. I see people at Ikea do it all the time.

Pentair 60 sq ft same multiport. The bigger it is and lower the psi the better. Atleast a 48 sq ft

That's the exact one that came with the house. Pool is 18k gallons and works great run vacuum once every 10 days

My mother has never drained her pool and had the same stainless sand filter since it was new in the 70's. She has changed the sand maybe three or four times. The water is not as spit shined as my DE but it is kind of hard to argue with her results. This week is the first time she has even replaced the pipes around the pump. That shit was getting kind of ragged but still working. Blue Haven built it. Anyone remember when snakes were all the rage in pools? It had those up until about 15 years ago or so.

Hayward is a better quality DE filter then the others on the market and the service parts for it are the cheapest. What size filter do you have now? How old is your filter and what brand is it? It may be under warranty. Most had a 10 year warranty on the filter body.

He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off your dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I've seen it a hundred times.
I will not steal from anyone but I am not above banging someones daughter (every gal is someones daughter). I haven't built a model airplane in many, many years nor am I a fairy. The only reason you would have to hide your dog when I come over is so my dog will not try to bite it.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.
