He was actually in a fairly recent movie about a dad grieving over his son dying while doing that. Worlds Greatest Dad, or something like that. I think it is on netflix.

He had heart surgery not too long ago. Prolly was keeping him from doing the stuff that kept him happy....coke...booze....hookers...whatever it was. Take away a man's outlet for dealing with shit that he's been using for decades and something will eventually snap. Really really sucks

I heard this in passing earlier but dismissed it as BS. I get home and its plastered everywhere. Now I am just so depressed. Sure he had a LOT of bad movies but he was always so entertaining in everything else. I have met him 3 times and every time he just lit up a whole room and was just great with people and so witty. One time in Maui at Stella Blues he invited me and my dad to sit with him since the place was packed and my father was fresh off chemo so looked quite frail. I was a bit nervous at first but he just makes you feel like a life long friend almost instantly. It was one of the best meals of my life. My fathers illness made the man cry like they were brothers. He was such a good human being. Just so sad. I am not religious but on a level I hope he is at a comedy room with John Candy, George Carlin, Sam Kinnison, Joe Belushi and some of the other greats just having a good ol time. RIP Robin, I for one will really miss you.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

He made an adult decision and now he has to..live with it..
