This is always the first few ads everyday for the past 3 weeks on Craigslist,

Makes you wonder about the quality of any repair that comes out of that place

That place went to hell in a hurry....I got totally screwed by the sales department after Skip left, and their service dept. has never been worth a squirt of piss IMO. Those idiots can't fix a sandwich, much less a car.

I couldn't believe how willing they were to screw me after having purchased 4 cars there, my brother has bought 3 on my referrals, and numerous people at work that I've sent over there have bought as well. None of that mattered at all when it came time for them to make something right. I wouldn't piss on that place if it was on fire...it could burn down with every one of those crooks in it, as far I'm concerned.

...and I make damned sure that everyone I come across knows the story too.

Not really. When I was at cummins they used CL because the rates and response from individuals was better. Using monster or careerbuilder had them getting blasted with recruiters.

Forget buying a mustang from them in the near future I take it.

He's posted it before. Bought a used King Ranch that after driving for a while he realized had been in a bad accident or something. Lots of wind noise on the highway, assorted other issues. He went back and they said they would make it right but he ended up getting screwed selling them that truck back and getting into something that wasn't a pile of shit.

I'm getting blasted with recruiters and heath insurance plan sales positions.

I'll most likely be talking to 5 Star in NRH for my next vehicle purchase.

Lyn almost wanted to drive to CC and get a Chevy from Purdee and Skip!

I really liked their internet sales guy. He helped me track down the exact car I wanted even though it wasn't one of theirs.

Pretty much...truck was only a year old, had some hidden issues that surfaced within a week or so. It was a "certified pre-owned" (which I've since learned means absolutely nothing BTW....unless you are buying a BMW), and even though it had a clean Carfax, accident history, etc. It became ~95% certain the truck had been on it's drivers side at some point. I wasn't asking for anything abnormal....just wanted them to give me a full refund on the truck via credit to another one. That's it.

I still can't believe that they have this shit on their site too....

If you don't love the vehicle you purchase from Grapevine Ford, bring it back and we'll get you in the right one with no questions asked. We also offer a best price guarantee!

....and it's pretty much an advertised lie. Yup, they'll take it back, but what they fail to mention is that it's going to cost you.

I could've pursued it more, I even spoke to a lawyer who wanted to take the case, but in the end I would have been out probably as much as the few thousand they fucked me for plus a whole bunch more of my time, stress, etc. that I wasn't willing to put up. I'll just be satisfied knowing that it will cost them future business from me and everyone I know. Since that time my brother has bought another new F150, he would've gone there again, but didn't b/c of my issue. One of the guys at work was about to pull the trigger on a brand new Expedition for his wife a couple months ago (at GVF), he happened to see a post I had made on an internal message board at work about my ordeal with them...he came over and asked, so I sat down and told him the whole story....he pulled the plug with them the very same day and went to another dealer. If I can keep up with direct hits like that, I'll be happy enough on my own revenge....and all I'm doing is telling the exact truth, as it happened.

One thing I will say is that Ford seemed to take the shit pretty seriously. They contacted me numerous times to follow-up, and eventually even gave me some free stuff...but unfortunately they weren't able to force GVF to make it right.

I've been having hell trying to be treated decently by any dealership right now. I'm wanting to throw money their way, but fuck they're all cock sucking assholes.

I haven't been to a dealership in years. Last new vehicle I bought was in 2006. I'd really prefer to avoid them permanently.
