Though the last several cars I have bought I buy directly through my lender, I show up with a PIN or draft and it makes for a smooth transaction. I find the car and go straight to finance manager, no need to fuck with the morons...

Yep, I'll never buy from a dealer again. Tired of all the bs of buying. All the shit fees they add on. Plus sales tax. In arizona (where I live) there's no sales tax when buying used from an individual.

I bought a BMW for my wife this past weekend, from BMW Dallas...and I've got to say it was the best buying experience by far that I've ever had with any dealership.

Having worked at a Ford dealership before, yeah, it is pretty crappy. I did my best to be completely honest with everyone I dealt with while I was there, but I was surrounded by A LOT of shady people. There were a few that were good guys, but most of them would rip your head off if they had the chance. It gave me some good life experience and how to get through all the BS. Buying a new car is probably one of the most stressful things one can go through.

Actually I enjoy it every now and again. Everyone I know that buys a car takes me with them. I actually was going into car sales at one point and took a couple of their seminars. It was very enlightening and gave me a new angle when dealing with them. How's that for learning your enemy? The last time though was Josh at Grapevine and we mainly just visited while he set up the deal. There was zero back and forth and no need to intervene.

Our family has bought 10 or so cars from Skip and Josh. I always enjoyed dealing with them even though it's an hour drive and the finance dept took a really long time. Since they left we have bought 4 new Fords from Holiday Ford in Whitesboro at the same kind of price from Skip.

Heck autonation isn't that good anymore either. Have tire and wheel protection and they had to order a custom tire since they wouldn't carry it 305/30/20. To make it worse its a pirelli. So 14 days later I finally call them asking where the tire is. Noone knows anything or where its coming from( they paid $580 or showed me the receipt for that amount) and will give me a call back as soon as they figure it out.

Been 2 days with no callback.

Add Clay Cooley to the shitty dealer list. We are in the process of trying to get them to get their shit together and fix my wife's a/c issue without their employees causing more paint damage to her brand new car than they already have.
