                Most of those guys (NASCAR drivers) cut their teeth dirt tracking and a lot of them still compete in DTR...

                            Yes. In this same type of car. They are inherently unsafe. They don't kill people like the F1 cars of the 70's, but they're just as, if not more hairy to drive.
