              That would seem about right at highway speeds I bet. I know in that volt I had for rental it went 35ish miles on electric jamming to classic rock, ac on high and lights on at highway speeds, then the generator gas motor kicked in

                    Yup. With the solar panel to help with auxiliary stuff, it really has more to do with how you drive than radio/ac.

                      My wife drives 22 each day, without weekend stuff, but she gets 400 on a tank of fuel, goes about two full weeks. She would have to charge up every three days it seems on the Leaf.

                        If I'm doing my math right, its $20.00 per 687.50 miles on the Leaf. And its about every two days to charge with our miles.

                          I wish I could do something like that. An 80 miles scares me as I drive 62 miles round trip for work and often get stuck in traffic.
