Solo vacation ideas?

Bring a wet suit. I was in L.A. mid May and one of the days hit 101. It was a record. The pool was still cold as hell and the beach was even colder. However the scene on Venice beach is awesome. The park on Santa Monica's beach was a blast. There were so many people from around the world there as well. I was there for business and rented a SUV and just people watching was a blast. Highway one is fun as well. Have a good time.

Also, Holy shit at baggage fees. There was a "Spirit Airlines" flight for $84. The baggage fee for anything is $100.

STAY AWAY FROM SPIRIT AIRLINES. I've flown them twice. The cheap fares aren't worth the horrible surcharges for everything else, plus in my experience they have shitty old planes and bad attitudes.

I've got 7 days to make it up the coast. I think I'll stop off in LA/Long Beach for a while.

I plan to travel by train.

Personally, I would rethink that. There's just too much cool stuff to see and do along the way. Have a great trip man.

Man, I kinda fucked it up with that virgin link. DFW-San Diego was $118. I kept fucking around with one way options VS multi-destination and the flight filled up. I ended up having to get a $154 flight with united.

A lot of travel sites watch your browsing and will jack up the prices if you keep searching. It makes sheeple book sooner since they think it's the best deal they'll get.

Just got back from 14 days up there. Amazing views everywhere you look. Weather was perfect this time of year. However, if I were single it would not be my idea of a "singles" vacation unless you just like to hike.

For a single vacation. I am heading to Southern California, Florida, Vegas or someplace with a lot of other potential single people.

I feel it would be an awesome get away to just have some alone time, and unwind.





Now that I think about it, I hear Russia is nice this time of year.

Id go on a fishing trip with a guide, or somewhere i know other singles people will be.

Driving pch was fun and all, but the whole point of a vacation to me is get out of the car and enjoy it.

With those real cheap flights that tbird posted I'm really thinking about flying into san diego and renting a bike. Ride around for a few days and take a train to LA. Do the same and the travel to san Fran and fly home.
