Anyone dealt with a pregnant dog?

My blueheeler is 65 days pregnant...she has all the signs of being ready to give birth. But she just wont...we've been waiting all week and still nothing. Contacted the vet and she said not to bring her in because the stress it would cause our dog. Vet just said to keep any eye on her which we've done. She eats fine, her temp is still over 100. Anything else I'm missing? should we be concerned....I'm scared shitless for my dog.

She is normally an outside dog but has been inside ever since we knew the was pregnant. Anyone deal with this before?

This...Had to do the same with our blue heeler bout 12 years ago...once i let her just roam around as she pleased, she popped them suckers out pretty quick

Just make sure she cant wonder off into the woods and pop em out, and she will be fine. Just let her do her thing and dont helicopter over her and nature will take its course.

yea we had to construct a quick large pen outside our backdoor that she would go in and out of (that she couldnt escape from while outside)

You recommend letting her having them outside vs inside? I heard that they pretty much pick a spot and start popin.

Yea they just find a spot and pop them out. I would try to encourage her in some form to have them inside in a controlled environment.

Thanks! yeah shes a good dog we've had her since she was 2 months old...smart and full of energy. The male dog that kocked her up is a well trained good looking goldendoodle. So I will post picks when she pops.
