  • One of the self-monitoring people from the Dallas hospital is now isolated on a cruise ship coming back from Belize.

I wonder about some people in the health profession.

I am glad to see that some people care enough not to add me to ignore.

Did you stop to think and forget to start again?

Seeing how "we're" not doing anything to control incoming people from hot zones and not doing anything to control known people that have come into contact with it, I'd say we err on the side of caution if there's a reasonable connection to Ebola at this point.

You could come home with me, to my house in Greenbow, Jenny. You and little Forrest. I'll take care of you if you're sick.

Interesting. I've had the news on for a few hours this morning and no local mention here in LA.

I'm willing to bet the report i heard was based on the same article posted, so it may all be rooted in the same truth/fallacy at this point.

It's still up on nypost.com so it might be true. I was expecting it to be a big story this morning. http://nypost.com/2014/10/16/alarm-a...igeria-to-jfk/

I don't think it's true because they can't test for the disease that quickly. And it if it did happen, and they let those people off the plane, bad things are gonna happen.

                      • yeah i'm curious how they can tell so quickly, however other tests have a 48 hour turnaround on them.

                          • Uh... vomiting is not the only symptom.

If he didn't have blood leaking from his eyes, and his asshole wasn't dumped out onto the floor of the plane... he probably didn't have ebola.

The chick that was allowed to fly had ebola and she didn't have an alarming fever. That's not a sufficient test, especially dealing with a dead body in a confined environment.
