Perhaps there was a lack of training for healthcare workers. Seems to me that had everyone followed protocol and procedure (like the majority of the others did, apparently) we wouldnt be talking about this the same way.
So now, the CDC and healthcare providers are ramping up PPE equipment, doing extra training, etc, since someone didnt pay attention in "dont touch the infected fluids" day in nursing school. And everyone is freaking out that the ramp up is occurring.
