Just got offered a Security Manager position in Liberia but would have to leave in 96 hrs. Money would be close to awesome if it wasn't an Ebola related job.
Seems to me a bigger help to contain ebola in Africa would be they need civil engineers over there to help them build a 19th century sanitation system.

Easier said than done. We built waste water treatment facilities, trained people and oversaw operations in Iraq. They are no longer used. It stopped almost immediately after we left. You think you can get these people to do anything?!

Agreed. It is easier to help people that want to better their life, instead of people that just want someone to take care of them.
On Oct. 14, the health care worker, whose name has not yet released, reported a low-grade fever and was isolated. The day before, the CDC said, she traveled on Frontier Airlines Flight 1143 from Cleveland to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The health care worker showed no signs or symptoms of Ebola while on board the flight according to the flight crew. However, due to the proximity in time between the flight and the patient's symptoms, the CDC would like to interview all 132 passengers that were on board the flight. Those who traveled on the flight can call 1-800-CDC-INFO (1-800-232-4636).
A Dallas nurse who has Ebola and is being transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for treatment never should have flown on a commercial airliner, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday.

This just keeps getting better. This could turn out to be even worse than imagined. All the assholes in charge have been taking this to lightly in my opinion and now look at what is happening. Looks like I will be stocking up on supplies this weekend.

I think the "assholes in charge" are just ignorant. They make grand plans of how things will work to contain it, but forget these plan have to be carried out by people that make mistakes.
