  • Where to rent tux?

I am paying for the wedding and it's absurd how much I've already spent. I went to the Men's Warehouse and the prices seem high. Out the door it was $225 per tux and I need to buy mine and my two kids plus I feel bad passing the cost off to my best man, gramps, and step dad when they have to buy theirs.

Too bad Sym's when belly up, you could buy a nice tux for a c-note.

I wonder why our prices vary so much. I'm going to call them back and see if I was being up sold. Did that include shoes and everything

I think its shitty to pass on the cost of your mistake to others, but that's just me.

It's standard for groomsman and bridesmaids to pay for their own attire. This is understood prior to accepting the invitation to be in the wedding

Every wedding I have been in the wedding party pays for their own attire.

Thus has been my experience as well which is why I want to keep the cost down for them.

Is it a specialty tux thats not available for rental? Why do they have to buy instead of rent?

Mens Wearhouse, should be just over $100 each unless you have some rotund wedding party members. I bought mine there and already recouped my cost.

Why not pay for their rentals in lieu of gifts that nobody really cares about.
