BS? Really....these are my parents boats. They sold their 24' pontoon; and I'm currently debating snagging the wave runners or the boat. I put about 90% of the hours on all 3 watercraft!

They live at the Pinnacle at Cedar Creek lake since 05' and the boats have been in rarely due to water level over the years! They are selling and moving to Robson Ranch, so all the watercraft either goes with the house or I snag it now. All the watercraft are tight and clean. Took the waverunners to Lake of the Arbuckles last weekend and then again today to Lake Ray Hubbard.....wish someone could've warned me how ghetto that lake is!

The decision is which one fits the best for my family without a lake house, and I'm torn between the versatility and ease in and out of the waverunners...vs...the lexus like experience on the water with the Chaparral.

I love wave runners. But I wouldn't trust my kids on one. Get the boat and take the whole family out.

Jet skies are fun for a week and then they get old. Boat all the way.

The boat and various towables is a lot more family friendly than a pair of jet skis, plus you can bring the kids friends, or your own for that matter, and have a lot more control over everyone's safety.
