Got a ticket for 117 in a 50! The ticket was actually wrote for Speeding 10% over the posted speed limit and in the speed area is said Alledged Speed 117 in 50
Trooper said he clocked me coming across mile long bridge with his rear Radar, But didnt pull me over till 20 mins later cause he was in front of me and somehow he didnt see me pull in to the Texas National Bank after he radioed in to the Rowlett Police Department that he had a Black Trans Am evading and gave pursuit but lost me. Well as I pull out the bank and pull up to 66 light at George Bush Tollway he pulls in behind me and yelling at me over his Loudspeaker to pull over. I pull over and he gets out his car yelling at me saying I am being charged with Felony Evasion and then 6 Rowlett police cars pull in yelling at me for evading. I have this confused look on my face the whole time all these cops are yelling at me and I just hold up my Bank Deposit Receipt that I wasnt evading and wasnt aware I had been even clocked speeding and told them I wasn't speeding and asked how he clocked me with a group of cars coming across the bridge. The Rowlett PD was pissed at this Trooper when I held up my Bank Deposit slip with the time stamp on it. All the Rowlett cops looked at the trooper and said you had us all looking for this guy and he was in front of you the whole time. So then he proceeds to look at The Rat picking the car apart that my tire are not DOT legal and my Registration is out and my Tail lights are tinted and window tint isnt legal and my exhaust is dumped. I just apoligized to him and all the other police officers and said I respect the law and the officers who inforce and that I was sorry for the whole ordeal but also said I wasnt speeding and still not sure why im getting taken to jail and my car getting impounded. The trooper wanted to take me to Dallas County Jail but the Rowlett Sgt took pity on me and told the trooper they would book me in their jail so I could bond out fast. The Sgt of the Rowlett PD also pulled some strings for me and I only got the ticket for speeding instead of a Registration ticket and Dumped Exhaust and Cheater Slicks and Tinted tail lights. The Rowlett Sgt told me on the way to the Rowlett Jail that I should fight the ticket and that had he been in the Trooper shoes he would have never pulled me over just cause it was Rear Radar and if I had actually slipped away and then saw me again 20 mins later after catching me on his Rear Radar he wouldnt have wasted his time filling out the ticket.
Anyways I know their are officers here who post TruBlue I know is a officer. Am I fucked or do I have a chance with a decent attorney at beating this?
Also any good attorneys that are not MONEY HUNGRY but Reasonable. I have to good see the court before April 10th
