I've had some nice cars. I have an SRT8/392 Challenger. That freaking thing is awesome. Best hot rod I have owned.
I was in for an oil change yesterday and asked about a Hellcat. Huffines said they aren't ordering any. If you want one, put your money down and we'll get you one. They weren't even sure about the prices either. said maybe 80k?

2.9 0-60? Holy shit.
Today is a good day for fans of cheap, obscene American performance. First we find out the 2015 Corvette Z06 is actually stupid fast, and now we get some mind-blowing numbers for the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat sedan as well. It does not disappoint at all.
The website TorqueNews witnessed a presentation at Chrysler Headquarters in Auburn Hills that detailed the Charger Hellcat's performance. According to them, the 707 horsepower supercharged sedan will hit zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and run the quarter in 10.7 seconds on street legal drag radials.
So, like its two door big brother the Challenger Hellcat, the Charger Hellcat is also a 10-second car. Sweet. That also easily cements the Charger Hellcat's status as the world's quickest sedan.
From TorqueNews:
On the right side of that slide was the SRT timing screen from inside the car, showing the performance numbers for that particular quarter mile run. This included a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds, a 0-100 time of 7.2 seconds, an 8th mile time of 6.8 seconds and a quarter mile time of 10.7 seconds. This screen also showed us an 8th mile trap speed of 96 miles per hour and a quarter mile speed of 120 miles per hour – which Chris Cowland quickly stated was slower than usual. He went on to explain that on most strong runs, the Hellcat Charger is able to hit around 126 miles per hour in the quarter mile…in a 4,500+ pound sedan.
On stock production tires, the Charger Hellcat does the quarter mile in 11 seconds. Either way you slice it, it turns out the sedan is quicker than the coupe. Who knew?
Check out the video below for details. God bless American horsepower.
