I read a lot of the indictment yesterday, they have about 50 instances where the dumbass lobbyist just handed him a check that he took to the bank. This went on over a period of twelve years. They also got him for filing three years of fraudulent tax returns.

What kind of a dumbass takes a $50,000 check as a bribe, deposits it in the bank and then on top of that doesn't report the income on his taxes? This is a great tale of hubris.

Christian Campbell pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.

Prosecutors say for more than a decade, Price was at the top of a scheme involving Campbell, consultant Kathy Nealy and Commissioner Price's longtime assistant, Daphney Fain.

They allege that price accepted cash and valuables in exchange for favorable votes and inside information at commissioners court.

Wasn't a doctor's Bentley. It was owned by one of the IT Directors at Baylor. He created a fake company in FL and was sending invoices through Baylor for work that was never done. News reports $1.4m was embezzled, people I knew that worked in the security group over there said it was closer to $9m.
