                I always buy something hand made out of local wood or stone when travelling internationally. An Onyx statue of Kukulkan from Chichen Itza and a carved shark made of Rosewood from Altun Ha for example.

                As far as collections though I have lots of coins. I'll collect anything foreign (lots of WW2 era Deutch Marks) and American prior to 1967 (mostly real silver) and of course the steel pennys.
