I'm over in the area Thursday. Text me an idea of your area and I'll look around. I found some decent stuff in Watauga, probably the best priced. Just don't know shit about it.

Found some decent places in Haslet, but the budget will get blown. Arlington appears affordable as well, but there is a pretty serious lack of decent houses there as of today, same with Benbrook.

PM me your number. I have Eric keeping an eye out as well.

I'll check my area, zip is Arlington but everything else is Mansfield. Saves a but to the 50 yards away.

They just resurfaced Mid-Cities Blvd west of Rufe Snow. It really needed it. And I can think of a half dozen other stretches of major road that could also use it.

Not really an issue for me. Mckinney pisses money away on dumb shit, like replacing random sections of sidewalks that are perfectly fine.

If you go with watauga I would suggest trying to get farther north so you are in Keller isd. I dunno if any are available but being a product of the bisd system, I'm not a fan

Sean when we were talking about my preferred zips in Arlington I wasn't really taking into account what schools your kids would go to. Corey Elementary, Boles Jr High, and Martin HS were getting top marks when I was going through the school system, but that was also a long time ago. I can't remember the age of your kids, but I'm sure Martin is still tops in town, as it is situated just down the street from the Lake and that's where all the money is(76016, 76017).

Even so, there is plenty of affordable housing in those zips. As I was saying in texts my old house was in 76016, and I was only about a mile from Martin. I know my property taxes are hella cheaper since I live near Lamar HS now. lol

                      This

The district lines are oddly drawn though.

I'll echo the 'stay north' comments about Watauga, and add that it means 'stay north of Hightower/Basswood.'

I live just south of that line, but if I was looking to live in the area, I'd stay north.

Give me a call if you are in the area.

They REALLY need to resurface Rufe snow from Starnes to Mid-Cities LOOL
