I like how she "didn't let them put her in handcuffs" if any of us tried that shit we'd be tased, put in a chokehold and dragged out of the fucking car with a resisting charge to boot. Perfect example of the two tier justice system in this country. Absolutely pathetic.

See, I didn't realize not permitting cops to put cuffs on was an option. I mean hell, it's not nearly as bad if you don't have cuffs on. You get a ride to the station where you continue to refuse tests and the cops don't get a warrant and say "Well she said no so we should wait hours before we do anything to let her BAC drop."

Funny. I was reading our policy manual the other day and it highly recommended not handcuffing juveniles. I have never read anything in the code that says you shall handcuff anyone. Just like the hands behind the back is generally optional, but common practice for officer safety. When we transported people in warrants we put them on the front because they were generally on their last leg of the journey and never combative. Generally it depends on the city you work for and their jail policy. It is the jail that will not take a prisoner with no handcuffs in a lot of cities. That is the general rule but there are exceptions. I have a hard time believing she wasn't cuffed if she was hammered. It's a crap shoot with drunks, some are violent, some are funny, some just pass the fuck out. In some cities if you have to detain someone (handcuffs), and then release them, it is considered use of force.

I just thought it was funny because "wouldn't let" implies that the cops wanted to handcuff her, for whatever reason, and she said no.

There is way too much "me" and "my career" in these peoples heads. How do we get rid of these career seekers? Possibly term limits from the lowest to the highest office maybe.

Then she could worry about ruin all she wanted while seeking other employment once her term limit had been reached. Im thinking 1 or two terms max.

Oh look, somehow the DA never got the video. Just like how the DA always has a tough time getting an indictment of cops. Wonder why that is?

We used to not even have them in the holding cell before booking if they were cuffed in the front, we made the officer take them outside and cuff them in the back

That cunt has some karma heading her way.

She is drunk as fuck, as any person can see in the pics, much less the video. There should be some folks going to jail with her for the DA not getting that video. Where is the oversight?

I'm all for a fair trial, but she should have been prosecuted, and she was right, it should have cost her her career. She would have thrown the book at anybody else that did what she did.

The da, judge, and everyone else involved in the cover up need to be prosecuted. That's absolute horeshit that they're claiming there's no video. Someone should make some twitter handles and a Facebook page with this drunk bitches video and info.
