As far as I know - you want your rain to the north via the east fork on Trinity to fill Lavon. Get all that water into the trinity, it comes to your lake. Rain on top of the lake is fine, but won't get the amounts needed in it.Originally posted by Zfan View Post

I think that lake lavon has some sort of an anti rain shield in place. It avoided getting rain back when I lived there - over and over and over again, and I see it's still up to it's usual antics. One place you can count on it never raining is lake lavon.
I'll bet the lake lavon beach/lakebottom with the tall grass is still there - you could see it on the bridge that crosses the lake on 380. We used to crack jokes about someone needing to mow the lake bottom.Comment
