    Volume for the 2" diameter ball is 4.2 cubic inches, and the volume of the 2.5" ball is 8.2 cubic inches (almost twice as much material).

    And if they're hollow, surface area for the 2" diameter ball is 12.6 square inches, and the 2.5" diameter ball is 19.6 square inches (over 50% more material).

      Since they're a stainless core, and all the viton rubber is actually on the outside, there's actually a lot more rubber on the 2.5" vs. 2".
