I got blasted in an email reply (see below) after asking to have a third party inspect it. Apparently his caps lock key must be broken as every ad of his past or present and every email has all in been in capital letters.

Apparently you all haven't seen flight prices to Michigan lately. My last three trips have been $1000 at MINIMUM. Michigan sucks so bad, airlines and pilots don't even want to go there.

No I didn't, but you can fly Southwest to somewhere near for not to bad. It looks like a nice ride. I would still drive up there or fly and drive it back. Or fly up there and have it transported back.
If it was me, I'd take a day off or weekend and drive up there with a trailer, inspect it myself and drive it back. I look at deals like this as my money, my eyes.

Now I would pass on the deal just because he is being a prick about having the car inspected by a third party. Actually there are companies that will inspect the car at his place, no need to take it somewhere, that way he doesn't have to do it.

My friend just bought a low miles Pontiac Solstice in Arizona, he had a vehicle inspector go up and look at it, it checked out and he paid for it and had a transport company pick it up for him.

Look at it before you buy. I had customers buying classic cars on ebay paying 20-30k cars most of them had major issuse. then get mad at for for pointing out the issuses which were major. I quit buying foxes sight unseen cause all the issuses people wouldnt tell me about and these are cheap cars

This, you get someone to inspect the vehicle onsite, send you photos/discuss issues they see, and the one a buddy used showed back up on site when the transport people picked up the car to be sure nothing happened.

Or you can say "thanks for the response" to those guys you pm'd and asked how far away they were going to be from the car in question, when they took the time to give you a response on why they couldn't but would if it were convenient..... Instead of no reply at all.
