Anyone rebuilt hydraulic cylinders? How difficult is it? Some things I've read say it is pretty straight forward, others say the raping you take on having it done professionally is worth it. And does anyone have a good source for hydraulic hoses? I can't seem to find repros/OEM replacements for what I need, so I think my only choice is to pull them off and take them somewhere to have them custom made.

Rebuilding cylinders is easy as long as your not dealing with a rusted/pitted inner surface. Depending on what type of cylinder you have I might be able to furnish parts. We have a crimper with about 50 different dies so if Jimmy can't get you fixed up I might be able to. I'm in south Ft Worth.

If you do have some pits in the actual ram of the cylinder itself. I polish them out as best as you can, that it usually the cause for seals having rips in them.
If you cant fix it, as im sure you can unless its really jacked up. This is where i buy mine if i can.
