I've got my subs set up so I only see what I want to, and not the annoying ones like atheism, awwww, and funny.
With the massive amount of news linked to it from around the globe, extremely specific sub sections to just random ones. . . whats the reason for avoiding it?

What I like about this board is that it's mostly local, I'm friends with several members, and I've been here a long time, so it's comfortable and homey. I assume that the size and variety over on Reddit would just be more than I need, and perhaps a little overwhelming. As mentioned, between this place and FB, and a couple of other specialized boards, my free time stays plenty occupied.

To clarify, I'm not saying you should stop coming here, just wondering what's the reason people who active avoid it decide to.
Seriously, if you have that many 'subs' on reddit, you might need to reevaluate how much of your life you're wasting online.
