My stepson got a XBOX One when they came out, not sure why his dad gives him everything he asks for but anyways, it got played with for about a week. Turns out none of his friends could afford one and were all stuck playing on their 360 games where he couldn't interface with them. So he has been back on it since.

I tell my son hell no when he asks. The 360 is fine and does more than enough for us and the games are abundant and cheap. If he wants one he can get one when he earns the money and buys it himself.

XBOX One is aight, if your GOLD member, you get free games every month, the last two months have had decent kid games.

My roommate has a ps4 and the problem is that there are no games. Just about every game for the PS4 is made for ps3 as well, so you basically pay hundreds of dollars for the same games with marginally better graphics. That, and the titles that are exclusive suck really bad.

Ps4 rocks...graphics and gameplay can't even compare to the ps3. I only really play Battlefield 4 mulitplayer, but I love it. I love the video capture that is built into the controller too.

I have both and must say that I far prefer the Xbox ui, but due to the issue with Kinect, ps4 games so far look better.

I've had my xbox one for exactly a day. Played with it a few hours. My thoughts are the kinect system has promise, but it isn't 100%. Voice commands are awesome, but how exactly is that suppose to work when you have speakers? It has trouble understanding things unless you're quite loud when there is audio playing. I do like it though, I just feel like it's not consistent enough for every day use. The OneGuide for TV is pretty neat, and the voice activation and IR transmitting is nice. I need more time with it.

xbox one will control a receiver. you can say xbox volume up or xbox volume down and it goes up or down by +/-3.

one guide is annoying cause doesnt understand much. every damn time.. xbox watch TNT = CMT!
