Beware of dog signs

Can't remember the case but I read somewhere a while back where a kid jumped the fence to get a ball back and the owner had one of those signs, owner was still held liable.

Such a pathetic state of affairs in this country...

To be legal and avoid all lawsuits, the signs must be posted on the actual dog people must beware of.
Think of it like a handicap parking sign. The parking lot is not all handicap parking, just that one particular space is, that happens to be within that parking lot.
